♦ EXPRESS DELIVERY
With express delivery Vaisala will reserve and manage a spare parts inventory to ensure availability and rapid delivery of spare parts for the customer. Express delivery lets customers avoid the inventory management costs of spare parts storage, and purchase lead times are reduced to 1 business day. Standard spare part pricing still applies to express delivery purchases.
♦ EXPRESS EXCHANGE
Express exchange is a competitively priced spares-solution ensuring the availability of critical spare parts with a next business-day shipping policy. In the case of a system failure Vaisala will ship a replacement spare part to the customer prior to receiving the damaged or defective unit. The customer will then keep the replacement part and use the same packaging to return the damaged unit to the Vaisala factory for repair.
The express exchange service eliminates repair lead times and ensures that replacement parts are delivered as quickly as possible. Standard repair pricing still applies unless the customer is also covered by Vaisala’s standard or extended warranty.
