The preventive maintenance service typically includes checking the condition of the equipment, a functionality check, adjustments, provision and replacement of wearing parts and cleaning in accordance with the product’s standard maintenance procedures.
Vaisala offers two options for preventive maintenance.
♦ DEPOT PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE
With depot preventive maintenance the equipment will be sent back to a Vaisala factory for maintenance and testing. To return a product for maintenance, please use the HelpDesk form on the technical support page.
♦ ON-SITE PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE
Vaisala services is a global operation with an extensive field service team. With on-site preventive maintenance a qualified field service technician visit the customer’s site and complete preventive maintenance procedures on Vaisala products and systems. On-site preventive maintenance visits take place at regularly scheduled intervals.
If you have purchased on-site preventive maintenance as part of a service package then additional services may also be completed during the maintenance visit, such as software upgrade. The services included will depend on the product or system and level of service package.
